Robert Vente is an award winning photographer specializing in architecture and landscape photography as well as photojournalism. He is based in Northern California. He holds degrees in both photography and film making from The Guildford School of Art and the London Film School in England.

Robert’s architectural work for designers, architects and builders includes providing superb photographs, as well as highly original website design using multimedia, a subject he teaches at art colleges in San Francisco. His still life photography, particularly of Italian architecture, is represented by art galleries in the Bay Area.

Robert’s ability to photograph stunning magazine covers recently earned him “Best Photographic Magazine Cover” from the California Newspaper Publisher’s Association for his depiction of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Robert’s work has been widely published in such magazines as arcCA (Architecture California), Nature Magazine,The British Journal of Photography, Time Out Magazine, as well as several book publications for Penguin Books, Pan Books, MacMillan Publishing and most recently: Green From The Ground Up by the Taunton Press.

Robert was one of the founding staff photographers for Skateboarder magazine and has written articles on new and innovative photography techniques for Photo Technique Magazine.
